Mural Paintings of Kerala are a picture of Hindu Mythology and legends, which are drawn on the walls of temples and churches. History of this art is back between 9th to 12th centuries CE. Colors are prepared from vegetable and mineral pigments. These days if you want to add an ancient touch to your house, this is a good option. You can find Kerala handicrafts online too.
2. Coconut Shell Handicrafts
The state is one of the leading coconut producing states. Coconut shell handicrafts of Kerala is also common. The artists here have created the innovative and beautiful handicrafts from the coconut shells. Mostly liked are bowls, vases, teapots and toys.

Kerala is not only famous for tasty and crispy banana chips, but also for handicraft products made from banana fibre obtained from the tree.
